Welcome to the DDE Thesis Planner. These steps will help you stay on track from early planning to final completion of your Masters Thesis.

Steps in the DDE Thesis Process:

	Step 1:	Discuss areas of interest with your advisor
	Step 2:	Identify a general topic area for your thesis research
	Step 3:	By the spring visit collect 20 resources in your area of interest
	Step 4:	During your Spring Boston visit, work with your adviser to plan your thesis research project
	Step 5:	Summer 2009 write your protocol
	Step 6:	Prepare final revisions for Protocol and necesary tools for Protocol defense in Boston
	Step 7:	Prepare IRB application
	Step 8:	Video example of research for review in Boston April 2010
	Step 9:	Introduction, Review of Literature and Materials and Methods Sections for October 2010 meeting
	Step 10:	Defend your thesis by May 1,2011
	Step 11:	Graduation May 2011
	Step 12:	Present thesis in form suitable for publication
